December 4, 2018, Kailua, HI. The annual Holiday Party for the Hawaii ALS Community is being moved to a new location. The party will be held on Tuesday, December 18, at the front lanai of the Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church on 2313 Nuuanu Ave. The past 10 years, the party was held at the back lanai of the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) on Pali Highway. The PCG is currently undergoing renovation.

Julie Hess, a community volunteer for the Project ALS, also assists with catering through Uahi Grill in Kailua. Party attendees are requested to bring a dessert to share.
As in the past years, there will be a catered meal, pupus from the Celebrations Committee, entertainment, games including the Filipino festive game for children called pabitin, craft corner, photo booth, and lots of sing-along caroling.
