Foodland’s month-long Give Aloha 2018 Program has just ended.  The annual program usually begins and ends in September.  ALSFH joined the more than 300 other non-profits that have registered as recipients of this popular, local philanthropy of the Sullivan family.  The program promises to match each donor’s contribution up to $249. After all donations have been recorded, the Program, which pledges a total of $250,000 yearly, will give the individual non-profits all donations collected in its name.  The Program will then match each organization’s total, reflected as a percentage of the total, in relation to the other organizations.

As of the latest information available on the Give Aloha website on September 25, the total donation from the public to ALSFH was $1,159.  According to the Give Aloha website, final totals and individual organization checks will be sent out on October 31.

ALSFH would like to thank Foodland’s Sullivan family for its enduring philanthropy and the public’s support of its mission. Mahalo nui loa!
