August 29, 2018. Honolulu, HI. Close to 50 friends and family celebrated Katherine O’Connor’s and Divina Telan Robillard’s August birthdays at Romano’s Macaroni Grill at Ala Moana Shopping Center. The group was encouraged to participate due to RMG’s pledge to donate 20% of the bill upon presentation of an approved flier for either dine-in or take-out.
Dr. Richard and Janet Post, college friends of the late Professor Britt Robillard, have pledged to match RMG’s donation, dollar for dollar. Dr. Post is a retired business entrepreneur. The Posts are early donors to ALSFH, giving $10,000 last year, part of which was used to hire a designer to create this website and to develop the ALSFH logo. This website was launched last May, 2018.
The RMG Joint birthday celebration is the first of a series of fundraisers being planned for the rest of the year. A fundraiser on Facebook that is due to end on Friday has grossed almost $1500 for O’Connor and Robillard.
